Smithsburg Library opening set Aug. 8

The residents of Smithsburg have been eagerly anticipating the opening of the new Smithsburg Library being built at Veterans Park. Some of the area's best mystery writers will be on hand Tuesday, Aug. 8, from 3 to 5 p.m. to help celebrate this achievement.

Join them as "Sisters-in-Crime" authors Donna Andrews, Dana Cameron, Nora Charles, Mary Jane Deeb, Laura Durham, Mary Ellen Hughes, Valerie Malmont, Sandra Parshall and Marcia Talley help commemorate this milestone.

Copies of the authors' recent works will be available for purchase or you may bring your own copies.

The library strives to make all programs accessible. Please inform them of special needs two weeks prior to the program.

Call 301-824-7722 or 301-739-3250 ext. 136 for information.
