Around North Hagerstown

July 18, 2006

B>Lazy, hazy days of summer

Now we're finally getting the heat and humidity characteristic of midsummer! Hopefully, my tomatoes will take advantage and begin growing rapidly for us to enjoy!

I finally saw my first hummingbird the other day at the feeder - my friend Robin informed me the little guys are late in their appearances this year, probably due in part to the unseasonally cooler and rainier weather we've experienced as of late. I hope you and your families are enjoying these lazy, hazy days of summer!
