CCT announces schedule

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Chambersburg Community Theatre has announced its 2006-'07 season of four shows.

The Neil Simon comedy "The Odd Couple" runs Sept. 21 through 24. The holiday classic "A Christmas Story" runs Dec. 1 through 3 and Dec. 8 through 10. The season continues with "The Curious Savage" March 8 through 11. The final show is Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical version of "Cinderella," running May 11 through 13 and 18 through 20.

Season tickets are on sale now. Eight admissions are available during the season for $100 ($80 for ages 60 and older). Individual tickets cost $15 for adults, $12 for ages 60 and older, and $9 for children and students.

Artists invited to submit

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - The Arts Centre is seeking submissions for its regional juried show, scheduled for September and October. The show will feature fine art in various media, displayed at The Arts Centre's, 300 W. King St. Jurors for the exhibit are local artists Diana Suttenfield and Benita Keller.


The call for entries is extended to all artists working within 50 miles of Martinsburg. Artists are encouraged to send an application form, up to 10 images of their work on CD-ROM or slides, and an artist's statement to 229 E. Martin St., Suite 300, Martinsburg, WV 25401. Artists chosen for the exhibit will be asked to gallery-sit for at least one shift, so that the exhibit can be open to the public on weekends.
