St. Ann's Episcopal Church, Smithsburg, the Smithsburg Area Churches Association will hold its Pride Days service this Sunday at 8 a.m.

Pastor James Hoffer will be speaking on the topic, A Better Country. The Praise Band from Trinity Lutheran Church will perform.

Bring chairs.

Wheaton Park, Hagerstown, New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church will hold Outreach Ministries from 1 to 3 p.m. this Sunday.

There will be free music, a message, water, snacks and books.

Independent Bible Church, Hedgesville Road, Martinsburg, W.Va., a free, 12-week special sermon series entitled The Bible Stands is being presented Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m., addressing some of the controversial questions raised by the Dan Brown novel, "The Da Vinci Code," including issues with the Bible's origins, reliability and accuracy.

The theme this week is Transmission: Has the Bible Been Corrupted by People?

Potomac Park Camp, Falling Waters, W.Va., camp meetings will be held July 16-21 with daily services at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.


There will be special music and guest speakers each evening. Activities are available for children under 12.
