Md. motorcyclist killed in Pennsylvania wreck

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - A 52-year-old New Market, Md., man was pronounced dead at the scene of a motorcycle accident at 7:05 p.m. Sunday, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

Police said the man was riding a 2003 Harley-Davidson that went off the south side of U.S. 30 in Peters Township. No other vehicles were involved, police said.

The man's identity was being withheld until his next of kin had been notified, police said.

The man was pronounced dead by Franklin County Coroner Jeffrey R. Conner.
