Police probe alleged rape at Pa. apartment complex

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police on Friday were investigating an alleged rape at the Barclay Village apartment complex on Heintzelman Avenue in Hamilton Township.

Police said a man came to the victim's apartment Friday about 3 a.m., knocked on the door and called out her name.

When the victim opened the door, the man pushed her down, raped her and then left, police said.

The man was described as white, about 30 years old, and 5 feet 7 inches tall and 180 pounds with light color-length hair and a goatee, but no mustache, police said.

He was wearing a dark T-shirt with a pocket and blue jeans, police said.
