'Fiddler on the Roof'

FREDERICK, Md. - "Fiddler on the Roof" is a popular Broadway musical about a poor Jewish dairyman living in Russia a century ago and trying to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his faith in the face of changing social values - such as arranged marriages. In Way Off Broadway's production, Tevye (played by H. Alan Hoffman, left) arranges for his eldest girl to marry the town's well-to-do butcher, Lazar Wolf (Bubby Lewis). But Tevye's daughter announces that she has fallen in love with another man. "Unheard of!" roars Tevye. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings, select Thursday evenings and alternating Sunday matinees through Saturday, Aug. 26. Way Off Broadway is at 5 Willowdale Drive in Frederick. '42nd Street'

'Incorruptible'
