REVIEW

Looking for a place to escape the summer heat but can't afford a plane ticket? Then look no further. Escape to the magical world of Suderlund.

The first book I will recommend is called "Outcast: The Un-Magician" by Christopher Golden and Thomas E. Sniegoski. The story is about a boy, Timothy, who is an outcast because, unlike other residents of Suderlund, he is unable to use magic. But Timothy's days are numbered. Assassins constantly are stalking him. The government wishes him dead. Yet, without magic, Timothy feels powerless. And he can't tell friend from enemy.

I think this book is suitable for ages 12 and older. I reviewed this book because it was well-written and captivating. The titles of the other books in the series are: "Dragon Secrets" and "Ghostfire."
