The City of Hagerstown will have fireworks - 15,996 shells in 30 minutes - at Fairgrounds Park at 9:30 p.m. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. The Shades will perform oldies until 9:30 p.m. There will be children's activities. Trolley service from the former Ames parking lot off Dual Highway to the fairgrounds will be available from 6 p.m. until the end of the event. Williamsport's Fourth of July celebration includes fireworks in Byron Memorial Park at about 9:15 p.m. Everyone is asked to bring a canned food item. Rain date for the fireworks is Wednesday. Call 301-331-0383.
The Waynesboro Summer Jubilee will have fireworks at 9:30 p.m. on Main Street across from Waynesboro Hospital.
Fourth of July festivities at Memorial Park in Chambersburg, Pa., include fireworks at sundown. Activities begin at 1 p.m. with an antique car show. Mercersburg Community Band performs at 7 p.m. Also, food and game booths. Rain date is Saturday, July 8. Call 717-261-3275.
