Leitersburg Senior Citizens



LEITERSBURG - Monday, July 3, 11:30 a.m., Leitersburg Fire Hall, Leiter Street. A picnic lunch will be served followed by the business meeting. Bring at least one wrapped prize for the bingo game. The club meets the first Monday of each month.

Washington County NAACP



Tuesday, July 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wheaton Park, off Jonathan Street, Hagerstown. This will be a family picnic. Bring a picnic lunch. Beverages and dessert will be provided.

Basket bingo (baskets needed)



WILLIAMSPORT - Sponsored by Arc of Washington County, Sunday, July 9, Improved Order of Red Men. A total of 48 baskets are needed for this event. Donations to cover cost of baskets at these levels will be appreciated: $25, $50, $75, $100, $125, $150, $200, $225, $250, 275 or $290. There will be 20 games, five specials, raffles and other prizes and a chicken dinner. Proceeds help offset program deficits due to rising costs. Call Cathy Chapman or Lisa Churchey, 301-733-3550.

Pumper Healing Bonanza



Sunday, July 9, doors open 10 a.m., dinner at noon, games at 2 p.m., Volunteer Fire Co. of Halfway, 11114 Lincoln Ave., Halfway. Tickets cost $50 each and include dinner and 12 cards. There will be 50 games, paying $100 per game; $5,000 guaranteed payout. Extra paper games available. Proceeds help with repair cost of engine in primary pumper. Reserved seats only. South Hagerstown High School class of 1976



Saturday, July 29, 30th reunion, Beaver Creek Country Club. The event will include a deluxe buffet and DJ. 84th annual Wenger reunion



LANCASTER, Pa. - Friday, Aug. 18; Saturday, Aug. 19; and Sunday, Aug. 20. Includes variant spellings of Winger, Whanger, Wanger, Wengerd, Wengert, Wingerd and Wingert. Friday is the historical/reunion meeting at 7 p.m. at Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society, 2215 Millstream Road. Saturday, 7:30 a.m., all-day historical tour will feature first 10 Wenger immigrants. Saturday, 6 p.m., Weaver's Banquet Facility, Adamstown, Pa., family dinner.
