W.V.a. woman pleads guilty to possession of heroin

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A Harpers Ferry, W.Va., woman pleaded guilty on Thursday to one count of possession of heroin, according to a press release from the office of Acting U.S. Attorney Rita R. Valdrini.

Stephanie Spencer, 28, of 72 Taylor St., entered her guilty plea in U.S. District Court in Martinsburg.

She was accused of possessing heroin on Sept. 1, 2005, according to the release.

Spencer is free on bond as she awaits sentencing, according to the release.

The case was investigated by the Charles Town Police Department, according to the release.
