Now showing on stage

June 29, 2006

Washington County Playhouse presents "Grease," the popular Broadway musical that re-creates the look and sound of the late 1950s. Hot rod-loving boys with DAs and leather jackets and wisecracking girls in teased curls, bobby sox and pedal pushers bring the music and stories of the early rock era to the stage. Erica Hernandez and Brandon Jimenez play Sandy and Danny, right, to lead the cast.

Shows are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Saturday, July 15, (no shows Saturday, July 1, or Sunday, July 2) at the Playhouse, at 44 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. Tickets cost $29 and include dinner; discounts are available for seniors, students and children.

For reservations, call 301-739-7469.
