June 26, 2006

A Clear Spring man was in good condition Saturday at Washington County Hospital following a single-vehicle accident Friday night, according to a hospital spokesman.

Preston Leon Fraley Jr., 34, of 14721 Blairs Valley Road, was transported to the hospital after the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck he was driving north on Blairs Valley Road at 10:30 p.m. went off the road to the right, struck an embankment, trees and a utility pole, and overturned several times before traveling back across the road and coming to rest on its roof on the opposite side of the roadway, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

Fraley was trapped in the truck, and freed by Clear Spring emergency workers and flown by state police to Washington County Hospital, according to the release.
