Burgenstock named nursing assistant of the year at Shook
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Dorothy (Dottie) Burgenstock recently was chosen Nursing Assistant of the Year at The Shook Home. She was nominated by her peers and selected by an administrative committee.
Burgenstock has been a certified nursing assistant at The Shook Home and The Quarters at The Shook for 19 years.
Burgenstock lives in Fayetteville, Pa., with her spouse. Her hobbies include spending time with her grandchildren. When asked about how she feels about her work at The Shook Home, Burgenstock said, "I love these residents and the staff that I work with. I couldn't picture myself working anyplace else."
