Summer sign language classes



Deafnet Association Inc. will offer sign language classes.

Sign language practice - 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 1. Free. No textbook required.

Signing for kids - 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays, through Aug. 5. $40, textbooks are included.

ASL Basic 2 - 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays, July 10, through Aug. 28. $75, textbooks are not included.

Young artists' summer workshops



MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - The Arts Centre will offer the following classes:

One-day watercolor seminar with Dennis Clarke; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 17. $80; $65 for Arts Centre members.

Demystifying Digital Photography; half-day workshop, Saturday, July 8. $40; $25, members.

Music classes



Shepherd University Department of Music will offer summer music classes:

Musical Discovery class for preschool children; taught by Frauke Higgins. Wednesdays, June 28 and July 5, 12, 19 and 26. Ages 18 months to 3 years from 9:15 to 10 a.m.; newborns through age 18 months meet from 10 to 10:45 a.m.; introduction to piano, recorder and violin for ages 4 to 6 from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. $60 including registration.

Summer Jazz Camp, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 19, through Friday, June 23. $125.

Youth golf
