Nick Adenhart bounced back from his worst outing as a professional with two-straight eight-inning performances for victories. He allowed one earned run on five hits while striking out seven in an 8-6 win over Quad Cities on June 9. He backed it up with a 3-2 win over Beloit, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out eight. Adenhart (Williamsport) is 9-2 with a 2.08 ERA in 90 2/3 innings, allowing 72 hits and 21 walks while striking out 89 for Cedar Rapids in the Midwest League.

P.J. Hiser (South Hagerstown, HCC) saw five games of action this week, going 0-for-13. He is hitting .181 in 27 games for Lake County of the South Atlantic League team. He is 17-for-94 with two home runs and 16 RBI. He has drawn eight walks while striking out 37 times.

Adam Witter (Chambersburg) signed a free agent contract with the San Francisco Giants after completing his college career at East Carolina.
