Man robs KFC at gunpoint

A man walked into KFC on Dual Highway Thursday night, robbed the restaurant at gunpoint and struck an employee, according to a press release from the Hagerstown Police Department.

At 11:09 p.m., a man wearing a bandanna over his face entered the 330 Dual Highway restaurant and demanded money at gunpoint, according to the release.

One employee was struck by the robber and sustained minor injuries, according to the release.

The robber was described as a black man who was about 5 feet 9 inches tall, was wearing a black T-shirt and had a black bandanna over his face, according to the release.

The robber ran out of the store in an unknown direction, according to the release.
