Minor League - Walk-off Power

June 14, 2006

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Nestor Corredor led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a walk-off home run off Hagerstown Suns reliever Grady Hinchman, giving the West Virginia Power a 4-3 victory Tuesday night.

The Power trailed 3-0 before tying the game with a three-run seventh inning, on Nathan Yoho's two-run single and Darren Ford's RBI base hit.

All three Suns runs came on Joe Holden's two homers - a solo shot in the third and a two-run blast in the fifth. Holden has five home runs on the year.

Suns starter Deolis Guerra was solid in his five innings of scoreless work, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out three. Eric Brown worked a scoreless sixth before running into trouble in the seventh.
