The day features fun-filled events, including a children's croquet court, several regulation size courts and a special challenge course that requires players to follow a track around trees, over rocks and hopefully not in the brook. There will be lots of family entertainment, including children's games and face painting, plus a Sponge Bob Square Pants Moon Walk. Concessions, including homemade ice cream, will be available for purchase. A silent auction will also be held and features four tables brimming with many wonderful items up for bid. Each auction table will close at different times between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. All festivities will conclude at 2 p.m. when the live auction begins.
Proceeds from the event will be used to start a fund to build a new gymansium on campus. For more information, call Kay E. Hoffman at 301-733-0331, ext. 272 or via e-mail at kay.hoffman@brook lane.org.
