Pottery festival

The event celebrates the works of regional ceramists and the opening of the museum's new exhibit on Bell family faux stoneware. Today, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Renfrew Park, Waynesboro, Pa. Free.

Block party

Strawberry Festival

The Rohrersville Ruritan Club will hold its annual strawberry festival. The festival includes ice cream, strawberry pie, country ham sandwiches, entertainment, yard sale and craft tables. Walker Performing Arts Company, an arts education program for children ages 3 to 18, will present "Aladdin." Furry Fun Day

Bring clean, well-behaved dogs for a day of fun, such as costume parade, games, demonstrations, pet contests and activities, pet product and service vendors, and surprises for everyone. All dogs must be with a responsible adult, on a leash and under control at all times. National Trails Day

The public is invited to assist the West Chapter of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club with placing erosion control structures on the cliff trail in the William Houck area at Cunningham Falls State Park.
