Ryan Boward of Halfway celebrated his special day yesterday, May 31. Happy B elated Eleventh Birthday to you, Ryan, with much love from Mom, Dad and Cody.

Students in Washington County Public Schools will celebrate the end of the 2005-2006 school year on Monday, June 5. Schools will be dismissing two-and-half hours early on Monday. Best wishes to graduates, and enjoy your summer break students, teachers, faculty and staff!

Noon Plaza Party

Visit Downtown Hagerstown on your lunch hour ... Join in the fun for the Noon Plaza Party kicking off today, (and continuing each Thursday through Aug. 17) for a lunchtime series presenting the area's most interesting music. Market in the Square

Shop the market in the square ... The City of Hagerstown will be hosting a Market in the Square the first and third Thursday of each month from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the downtown Public Square. Vendors from Hagerstown City Farmers Market bring their delicious produce, goodies, and crafts outside to the square. Rain dates are Fridays.
