Part of street to be closed for Blues Fest

A portion of North Potomac Street will be closed on Saturday, June 3, because of the 11th annual Western Maryland Blues Fest, according to a press release from the City of Hagerstown's Engineering and Inspections Department.

North Potomac Street between Franklin and Washington streets will be closed to traffic starting June 3 at 12:01 a.m. to allow for setup of Saturday's Blues Fest activities, according to the release.

Vehicles will be allowed to turn left onto Potomac Street at Franklin Street in order to access the North Potomac Street parking deck, but they will have to exit the parking deck through the rear of the deck and into the alley, according to the release.

The section of North Potomac Street is expected to reopen to traffic on Sunday, June 4 at by 12:01 a.m., according to the release.
