Suns done in by Delmarva's big inning

SALISBURY, Md. - The Delmarva Shorebirds scored five runs in the fourth inning, building a 6-1 lead and cruising to a 6-3 victory over the Hagerstown Suns on Wednesday night.

The two teams travel to Hagerstown tonight to play a two-game set.

Nick Evans' RBI double in the first inning scored Joe Holden to give the Suns (18-27) a 1-0 lead. He added a two-run single in the ninth.

Delmarva (27-17) tied it in the third when Kyle Dahlberg doubled and Jonathan Tucker singled him in.

Then the floodgates opened in the fourth, with Stuart Musslewhite blasting a bases-loaded triple.
