Work to reline sewer manholes slated for today

Beginning today at 7 a.m., work will begin on relining sewer manholes on Memorial Boulevard, Summit Avenue and South Potomac Street.

West Memorial Boulevard will be closed to traffic between Surrey and Summit avenues to set up pumps. Traffic will be detoured around the work zone.

That section of Memorial Boulevard is expected to remain closed to traffic until at least May 22, according to a press release from the City of Hagerstown. Emergency vehicles will not be able to pass through the work area.
