Fire destroys Fulton County businesses

HUSTONTOWN, Pa. - Fire officials are investigating the cause of a blaze that destroyed two Fulton County businesses early Thursday, according to a press release from Pennsylvania State Police.

Old West Family Restaurant and Tice's Country General Store, both at 7611 Waterfall Road in Taylor Township, were destroyed in the fire, according to the release.

The Hustontown Fire Department, with the assistance of 12 other agencies, responded to the fire about 3 a.m., according to the department. It took five hours for firefighters to contain the blaze, fire officials said.

Officials from the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal's office are investigating the cause of the fire, according to the release. They were unavailable for comment Saturday.
