Maybe you know who holds the all-time home-run record in Major League Baseball, or who directed "Star Wars." Maybe you can name all six friends from "Friends."

But do you know about the famous people from the Tri-State area?

The Herald-Mail will award $50 to the person with the most correct answers to our local trivia contest.

Herald-Mail employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Here are some other rules:

If there's a tie, one winner will be drawn randomly from those who qualify.

Entries are due by 5 p.m. Friday, June 9. Mail your answers with your full name, address and daytime phone number to Lifestyle trivia contest, P.O. Box 439, Hagerstown, MD 21741, or bring your answers to 100 Summit Ave. in Hagerstown, or send your answers via e-mail to and type "Trivia Contest" in the subject line.

A photograph of and interview with the winner, along with the correct answers, will be published in an upcoming Lifestyle section.
