FORT LOUDON, Pa.

A man was killed on Friday after his motorcycle crossed into the oncoming lane on Pa. 75, hit one vehicle and was struck by a second, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Kevin Horst, 33, of Fort Loudon, Pa., was taken to Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police said Horst was riding a 1992 Suzuki motorcycle north in the 1200 block of Pa. 75, which is known as Path Valley Road.

About 5:25 p.m., his motorcycle crossed the center line and struck the driver side of a southbound 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Eleanor Young, 73, of Greencastle, Pa., police said.

The motorcycle hit the ground and slid north. It then was struck by a 2002 Jeep Cherokee driven by Nathan Geesaman, 21, of Waynesboro, Pa., who also was heading south, police said.

Police said Horst, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle as it spun.

Neither Young nor Geesaman was injured, police said. Their vehicles were towed from the scene.
