Health department employee of the month

Tracy Knable was named the Washington County Health Department's Employee of the Month for April. Knable has been employed with the Environmental Health Division of the health department since 2002. She provides administrative support for all aspects of environmental health programs, including food service sanitation, on-site water and sewer regulation and rabies control.

Knable's recognition reflects outstanding performance, not only in her regularly assigned work, but also in her success in developing and implementing a program focusing on the effectiveness of hand washing and personal hygiene in the prevention of disease transmission. This program, targeting young children, has been presented through the Washington County Parks and Recreation Department and will be repeated this year.

The CRA is the only professional credential tailored specifically for radiology administrators, focusing on human resource management, asset resource management, fiscal management, operations management, and communication and information management. To maintain credentials, Walla must receive 36 CE hours in radiology management every three years.
