Nine hurt at VisionQuest

SOUTH MOUNTAIN, Pa. - Two staff members and seven female residents of VisionQuest were treated for injuries after an altercation about 8:30 p.m. Saturday in two residential units at the facility, according to news releases from the Pennsylvania State Police and VisionQuest.

The situation between two girls escalated when others joined in, VisionQuest said in a release.

"There were no significant injuries to either youth or staff," according to the VisionQuest release.

Eight female residents were taken into custody by state police and released to the Franklin County Juvenile Probation Department. Charges have not been filed, police said.

Officers were called from Franklin, Adams and Cumberland counties, police said.
