Gorbsky is named site president for Citigroup's local facility

Deb Gorbsky has been named site president and customer service director for Citigroup's operations center in Hagerstown.

She replaces Michael Di-Sciullo, who recently moved to a position with Citigroup at the CitiFinancial headquarters in Baltimore.

In her new role, Gorbsky will be responsible for the Customer Service function in Hagerstown, and as site president she will be responsible for the overall operation of the Citigroup Hagerstown site.

Gorbsky started her career with Universal Cards in Jacksonville, Fla., in 1995 as a customer service associate and was promoted to unit manager the following year.

She became an operations manager in 1999.

In 2002, Gorbsky won Citigroup's prestigious Chairman's Leadership Award for her exceptional leadership and team performance, according to a prepared release.

Later that year, she was promoted to director of the Jacksonville Customer Service Sales function.

In 2004, Gorbsky relocated with her family to Greensboro, N.C., as customer service sales director for the startup of the new Citigroup operations center in Greensboro.

She graduated from the University of Scranton in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in communications.

She and her family have relocated to the Hagerstown area.
