The DeLauneys

Donna and Henry DeLauney celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at a dinner hosted by their children and grandchildren at the Grille at Park Circle.

The DeLauneys were married Feb. 1, 1946, by the Rev. G.I. Rider, now deceased, in the Grace United Brethren Church parsonage (now Grace United Methodist Church).

Mrs. DeLauney, a Mack Trucks Inc. retiree, is the daughter of the late Helen and Jim Kiracofe.

Mr. DeLauney is the son of the late Miriam and Ted DeLauney. He retired as deputy chief from the Hagerstown Fire Department.

The Stottlers

In February, Mr. and Mrs. Ardell Stottler of Hagerstown, formerly of the Clear Spring and Hancock areas, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family at Captain George's Restaurant in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The Stottlers were married Feb. 9, 1956, by the Rev. Earl Redding at Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church parsonage in Hagerstown.

They have one daughter, Vicky, and two grandchildren.

The Shiveses

In February, Mr. and Mrs. Barry K. Shives of Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Big Cove Tannery, Pa., celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with family at Captain George's Restaurant in Myrtle Beach.

The Shiveses were married Feb. 1, 1966, at Mount Olivet Church in Hancock by the Rev. Perrin.

They have two children, Angela and Douglas, and six grandchildren.
