Delmarva banged out 16 hits while the Suns were held to four singles as the Shorebirds handed a 7-0 drubbing to Hagerstown on Saturday.
Delmarva pitcher Brandon Erbe (1-1) allowed one hit over five innings and combined with reliever Josh Potter to strike out 12 Suns as Hagerstown stayed off the scoreboard.
The Shorebirds roughed up Hagerstown starter Jeff Landing (0-4) for six runs on 11 hits over 4 1/3 innings to take early control.
