City hosts baseball skills competition

The City of Hagerstown will host a free Pepsi Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run competition for area youths on Sunday, May 7, at the American Little League Field on Mill Street next to Hager Park.

Registration will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m., with the competition to follow.

Pitch, Hit & Run recognizes individual excellence in core baseball skills. Competitors are divided into age divisions and have a chance to advance through four levels of competition.

Each participant must fill out a registration form, and a parent or guardian must sign a waiver form. A copy of the child's birth or baptismal certificate is required at the time of registration.
