The Tri-State Fellowship of Christian Athletes' 15-Under Halos posted a 13-1 record en route to winning the championship at the April Spikefest at Shippensburg University.
The Halos defeated NVVA Loudoun (25-20, 25-23) in the finals. They finished pool play with an 8-1 record before defeating Lehigh Volley Force (25-19, 25-9) in the semifinals.
The Halos, coached by Diana Serafini and Katie Spoonire, were led by Rebecca Morgan (Grace Academy) with kills and four aces
Other top scorers were:
Amanda Jenkins (Clear Spring) eight kills.
Tara Garver (Boonsboro) three kills and three aces
Lacee Hershberger (Williamsport) four kills and two blocks.
Hannah Youngs (Broadfording Christian) three kills and two blocks.
Eagles place third
The 17-Under Eagles finished third at the Shippensburg Spikefest, losing in the semifinals.
