Piano students perform at Museum of Fine Arts

The piano students of Cinda Perry performed at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts on Friday, April 7, at 7 p.m.

Beginners performed in Part I with a flute duet by Danielle Kesselring and guest Whitney Bloom, three pieces by voice student Raven Shumaker and a special piano arrangement played by Jessica Gaylor.

Students in Part II performed pieces by Bastien, J.S. Bach, Handel, Mozart and Rachmaninoff. The students played to a standing-room-only audience.

A special guest performer was Carol Mowen on flute with her son, Peter Mowen, on piano.

The closing piece was Rachmaninoff's "Prelude in G Minor," performed on piano by sophomore Elizabeth Higdon.

Perry's studio is on Hamilton Boulevard in Hagerstown.
