Saints win tournament

The Tri-State Fellowship of Christian Athletes 14-Under Saints recently went 8-2 to win the Mason-Dixon 14's tournament in Elkton, Md.

For the Saints: Nikki Seifert had 13 kills, six aces and three blocks; Danielle DuBois had 11 kills and 12 aces; Alyssa Beattie had 10 kills and nine aces; Valerie Smith had seven kills, 11 aces and 34 assists; Rebecca Adams had 18 assists, eight kills and three aces; Erin Garns had 10 assists, three aces and a block; A'lysse Dickerson had six kills and seven aces; and Lauren Schoelen had eight kills, two aces and two blocks.

15-Under Halos

The Halos finished second at the Chesapeake Regional 15-Under Championships.

For the Halos: Mandy Jenkins had 28 kills and 14 aces; Rebecca Morgan had 31 kills and eight aces; Tara Garver had 37 assists, 16 kills, 11 aces and two blocks; Hannah Young had 17 kills, nine blocks and three aces; Christina Barnes had 45 assists; Karli Powers had 51 digs.


14U Angels

The 14U FCA Angels won the Silver Division of the Team Force Invitational.

The Angels were led by Mallory Petty's 10 kills, 29 aces and eight assists, Christine Walker's seven kills and 13 aces, Tiffany Thomas' 10 kills, seven aces and two blocks, Jamie Shurnitski's nine assists and Coleen Black's 10 kills.

15U Trinity

The 15U FCA Trinity went 3-5 in the Gold Division of the Chesapeake Club Regionals.

For Trinity: Lauren Cox had 12 kills and four aces; Stephanie Wilson had 14 kills and two blocks; Meagan Graff had eight kills, seven aces and 14 assists; Brittany Smetzer had a kill and nine aces; and Whitney Schroyer had 21 assists.
