April 19, 2006

A man who died Monday after a two-car crash in Washington County has been identified as a Martinsburg, W.Va., man, according to Maryland State Police.

Steward Wesley Frazier, 43, of 26 Price Drive, was driving east on Interstate 70 near the Frederick County, Md., line when his vehicle struck the rear of a car driven by Kim Singletary, 42, of Baltimore, police said.

According to police, Frazier suffered massive head injuries when the 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt he was driving rolled onto its roof after cresting an embankment.

Frazier was pronounced dead at Washington County Hospital.

Singletary and Robert Louis Stradford of Martinsburg, a passenger in Frazier's car, were taken to Washington County Hospital.

Singletary was treated at the hospital and released and Stradford was in serious condition Tuesday night, a hospital spokeswoman said.
