WHAT: Multiple Sclerosis Walk, to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's research, programs and services.

WHEN: Saturday, April 22. Registration opens at 9 a.m. Walk starts at 10 a.m. Rain or shine.

WHERE: Antietam National Battlefield, north of Sharpsburg. The starting point is on Mansfield Avenue, across from the Philadelphia Brigade Monument.

COST: There is no registration fee. Walkers are encouraged to get pledges. Walkers who raise $100 or more get an MS Walk T-shirt.

DIRECTIONS: From Hagerstown, take Md. 65 south to Antietam National Battlefield. Turn left on Mansfield Avenue, near the visitors center.

An MS Walk will be held Saturday, April 22, at War Memorial Park in Martinsburg, W.Va. Registration is at 9 a.m. and walk starts at 10 a.m. A $25 minimum pledge is requested. For more information, call 1-800-FIGHT-MS.

An MS Walk will be held Sunday, April 23, in Shippensburg, Pa., starting at Shippensburg University's Ceddia Union Building and going through downtown.
