'Songs of the Shadows'

Potato planting

The Washington County Rural Heritage Museum is sponsoring an old-fashioned potato planting with horse-drawn equipment. Children are encouraged to participate in planting. The harvest will be used this fall for the museum's annual Spudfest. Saturday, 1 p.m., weather permitting. Washington County Agricultural Education Center, Md. 65, south of Hagerstown. Free. Easter bunny skate

Bluegrass music

Carillon concert

Cumberland Valley Artists

The juried exhibition features art by amateur and professional artists of the mid-Atlantic region. Continues through Sunday, June 18.
