Easter egg hunts

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - The Jefferson County Parks & recreation Commission's annual Easter egg hunt will be Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at Morgan's Grove Park off W.Va. 480 outside Shepherdstown.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The costs is $5 per child, which includes the hunt and a picture. Additional pictures can be purchased for $3.


WAYNESBORO, Pa. - The Easter egg hunt rescheduled from last Saturday will be held Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park.

The event, sponsored by the Waynesboro Fire Department, is open to children ages 1 to 10.


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Friendship Engine and Hose Co. based at the McKinley Street station is sponsoring a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park, 1150 E. McKinley St.

The event is cosponsored by MIX 95.1.

Hunts will be held at different times for different age groups. A hunt for children with special needs begins at 3 p.m.
