Hurley-Kriesel

Heather Kriesel and Bill Hurley were married Sept. 22, 2005, at Eagle Cliff Falls in Montour Falls, N.Y.

The bride is the daughter of Sharon and David Kriesel of Syracuse, N.Y. The bridegroom is the son of Nancy and Marvin Hurley of Hagerstown.

The bride is a graduate of West Genesee High School in Syracuse, the State University of New York at Fredonia (N.Y.) and received a master's degree in music education and flute performance at Ithaca College. She is the band director at the middle and high schools in Greene, N.Y., is a freelance flutist and teaches privately.

The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, the University of South Carolina and Ithaca College with a master's degree in violin performance. He teaches violin at the Community School of Music and Arts and Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. He also is a member of the Binghamton Philharmonic, The Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, the Tri-Cities Opera Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes and the DeVere String Quartet.

Troxell-Kerslake

Andrea Melanie Kerslake and Jason Alan Troxell were married Saturday, June 4, 2005, at the Tea Room at Gambrill State Park in Frederick, Md.

The bride is the daughter of Eileen B. Kerslake of Hagerstown and Richard J. Kerslake of Easton, Md. The bridegroom is the son of Thomas and Helen Troxell of Pottstown, Pa.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Heritage Academy, received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Evangel University in Springfield, Mo., and a master's degree in computer science from Hood College in Frederick. She is a mathematics teacher at Frederick High School and an adjunct math professor at Hood College.

The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School in Pottstown, received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from The Pennsylvania State University and a master's degree in computer science from Hood College. He is employed as a research scientist with Digene Corp. in Gaithersburg, Md.

They live in Hagerstown.

England-Barnes

Rebecca Lynn Barnes and Craig Charles England were married Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, on the beach in Ocean City, Md.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Sandra Barnes of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Linda Millis of Alexandria, Va., and Jake and Christine England of Koshkonong, Mo.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Smithsburg High School, attended Frostburg State University and is a 2004 graduate of Allegany College of Maryland. She is employed as a registered dental hygienist in the Baltimore area.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of North County High School in Linthicum, Md., and received a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and political science from Frostburg State University in 2003. He served with Company C, 129th Signal Battalion, U.S. Army National Guard. He is employed as a private investigator in the Baltimore area.

They live in Glen Burnie, Md.

Hampton-Davison

Susan Elaine Davison and Bruce Charles Hampton were married Thursday, June 23, 2005, at the Tropicana Resort in Las Vegas.

The bride is the daughter of Elaine Burger and Linn Davison Sr., both of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Virginia Hampton of Chambersburg, Pa., and the late Robert Hampton.

The bride is a 1985 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and a graduate of Frostburg State University. She is employed as a residential director with the ARC of Washington County in Hagerstown.

The bridegroom is a 1984 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School and a graduate of Shepherd College. He is employed as a teacher with Cornell Abraxas Youth Center in South Mountain, Pa.

They live in Williamsport.
