Hagerstown Firefighters 1

The Lightning struck first on a goal by Glenn Randolph. Later in the half, Lightning struck again on an Eric Matamba goal, assisted by Casey Goodrich. The Lightning made it 3-0 in the second half on Glenn Randolph's second goal of the day. Hagerstown Professional Firefighters got their goal from Steven Glaspell, assisted by Noah Perini and Ashley Stalnaker.

Mir Neurology Green Comets 2
Team #9 0

The Green Comets got two goals from Brayden Tiner. Matthew Kibler assisted on the first goal, and Zan Mir provided the assist on the second. Strong goalkeeping by Peter Crampton of Team #9 prevented several other goal scoring chances for the Green Comets.

Blue Ridge Anesthesia 4
Team #7 1

The Blue Ridge Anesthesia Bluepers played a strong first half with an early goal by Brandon Helman. Nick Toms assisted on a Nick Brandenburg goal to extend the score to 2-0. Clay Smith's goal made it 3-0 Bluepers at the half. In the second half, Scott Long made a bicycle kick to save an offensive surge, enabling Dimitri Romero to score the fourth Blueper goal.

Team #5 1

Valley Storage opened the scoring with a goal from Keegan Abernathy on an assist from Grant Long, then took the lead for good in the second period on a goal by Jesse Draper off an assist from Grant. Draper soon followed with his second goal on an assist from Tanner Beal and finished off his hat trick with an unassisted goal in the final period. Ryan David got in on the scoring with a goal off of a corner kick served up by Ben Stone.

Walkersville (GVAA) Wirick 1

The Red Storm (1-0) won to open the spring season in the Frederick County Youth Soccer League. Michaela Grove and Jenny Milani each scored unassisted first-half goals. Strong defense was played by Madeline Dunn, Brooke Shives and Courtney Keener to help preserve the win.

SYL Jaye 6, CYA 1

Joey Barvir had three goals, Jeremy Boyd had two and Rabih Haq one for SYL Jaye. Boyd and Barvir each had two assists and Sean Scott with one. Chris Mitchell led the defense and Daniel Gillen had six saves.
