Eight bands from the Tri-State region and beyond will come together Sunday, April 9, at Stinger's Sports Pub & Grill, 7704 Old National Pike, north of Boonsboro.
Rock for a Reason is a benefit event to raise money for the families of Jonathan Barnes, Michael Abell and Brian Daigle, three teenagers who died in a Keedysville fire. The families plan to use the money to help build a skateboarding park.
The benefit concert will run from noon to 8 p.m. It is open to all ages. Tickets cost $5 in advance and $8 at the door.
Black Market Radio, Fosterchild, Vestascension, Since, Seventh Seal, Simple & Supreem, Half Link and No Remorse will perform.
