All abord for Cherry Blossom events

The Roundhouse Museum is sponsoring another excursion train ride, this time from Martinsburg, W.Va., and Brunswick, Md., to Washington, D.C., for the Cherry Blossom Festival and Parade on Saturday, April 8.

The train will leave Martinsburg at 7:30 a.m., stop in Brunswick at 8:10 a.m. and arrive at Washington's Union Station at 9 a.m. Upon arrival, passengers can make their way to the Cherry Blossom Parade, which begins at 10 a.m. along Constitution Avenue. The parade route is within walking distance of the station.

The return trip will depart Washington at 4:30 p.m.

Free parking is available at the MARC stations in Martinsburg and Brunswick.

Fares for the train trip are $50 for adults; $45 for seniors; and $25 for children younger than 12. Tickets are on sale at the museum at 300 S. Burhans Blvd. in Hagerstown. The phone number there is 301-739-4665.
