Skate park opens

BRUNSWICK, Md.- Brunswick Skate Park, off 13th Avenue, will hold its opener on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2. Admission is free on Saturday.

Basket bingo

Benefit dinner, concert

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Antrim Assembly of God will host a spaghetti dinner at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the church, Bemisderfer Road. The dinner will raise money for Pastor Rodger Berkey, who was diagnosed with colon cancer.

The dinner will be by donation. There also will be a bake sale.

Smithsburg Valley Baptist Church Praise Team will perform at a benefit concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 2.

Anger management group

FREDERICK, Md. - Families Plus! will present a parent/teen anger management group from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, April 6, 20, 27 and May 4, at Families Plus!, 35 E. Church St. The program is free. Registration is required. Call 1-301-694-9002.

Fitness classes for kids

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks & Recreation is accepting registration for its 2006 spring classes. Gymnastics classes begin Monday, April 3. Gymnastics classes are offered to ages 18 months and older. Sports for Kids classes are for ages 4 and 5 and begin Wednesday, April 5. Rallyball tennis is offered to help kids in grades one through six learn the game of tennis. Registration deadline is Friday, April 7, and play will begin Monday, April 24. Registration costs $45.

The spring 2006 Mighty Mites instructional soccer program will be held Saturday mornings beginning April 8, at Lambert Park.

End-of-Life Conference

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - The third annual Marsha McCullough End-of-Life Conference will be held Thursday, April 6, at Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Shepherdstown.
