Al-Anon/Alateen family groups

Alzheimer's Family/Caregiver support

WILLIAMSPORT - Tuesday, March 28, 10 to 11:30 a.m., Homewood at Williamsport, 16505 Virginia Ave. The group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month. Free and open to the public. Caregiving is available during the meeting. Call Pastor Reg Rice, 301-582-1750, ext. 297.

Children of divorce

FREDERICK, Md. - "Children from Changing Families" will be offered from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, March 28 through June 6, at Families Plus!, 35 E. Church St.

The free 10-week support group is for children in grades one through eight, whose parents are separated or divorced. Kathy Whattam, school counselor at Glade Elementary School, and Beth Myers, school counselor at Ballenger Creek Elementary, will help children learn that they didn't cause the problem, they can't cure it, but they can learn to cope with changes in their lives.
