Bird-watching hike

The Potomac Valley Audubon Society will host a field trip to the Nature Conservancy's Altoona Marsh in Jefferson County, W.Va. Fly tying workshop

Walking tour

MasterWorks IV

Maryland Symphony Orchestra's MasterWorks IV concert, "A Rare Selection of Audience Favorites," will feature piano soloist Jonathan Biss performing Johannes Brahms' Piano Concert No. 1 in D minor; Felix Mendelssohn's "Midsummer Night's Dream"; and Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 in C minor.
