Zion United Church of Christ, the Rev. Robert Royal will speak during the 11 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, How Free Are We to Make Up Our Own Reality About Jesus?

Sunday school begins at 9:15 a.m.

The Rev. Don Stevenson will speak at the Wednesday Lenten service which begins at 6 p.m. with a potluck dinner. The topic at the 6:45 p.m. service is Forgiveness in Human Life.




Calvary Grace Brethren Church, Pastor Doug Courter will speak on the topic, Curiosity and Cold Feet, at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday.

Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. Bible study methods part five will be held at 6 p.m.

Bible study is Tuesday at 10 a.m. and youth activities are Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.




Pikeside United Methodist Church, Paynes Ford Road and U.S. 11, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Thomas Young Jr. will bring the message, Let Me Dream On If I Am Dreaming, at the 8:30 and 10:35 a.m. services this Sunday.

Sunday School for all ages is at 9:15 a.m. The Pikeside Academy will meet for a soup and sandwich meal at 5:30 p.m. and then discussion with Steve Brown and the Rev. Warren Watts on Your Body, God's Temple.

Bible studies are Wednesday at 10 a.m. and Thursday at 7 p.m.




Mount Vernon Reformed UCC, Keedysville, Pastor Delancey Catlett will speak on the topic, Coming to Light, at the 10:40 a.m. service this Sunday.

The Md. 34 Corridor Lenten service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Vernon with the Rev. John Deckenback speaking and showing slides on Israel and Palestine.




Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, Sharpsburg, Pastor Delancey Catlett will speak on the topic, Jews Demand Signs and Greeks Demand Wisdom, at the 9 a.m. service this Sunday.

Children's Sunday school begins at 10 a.m.




Church of the Holy Trinity, Halfway, the Rev. Tim Leighton will lead the 10:45 a.m. service this Sunday. His sermon topic will be John 3:16.

Children's church meets during the service. Fellowship and light refreshments follow the service.

Sunday school for all ages is at 9:30 a.m.




Tri-State Fellowship, 13153 Cearfoss Pike, Hagerstown, Pastor Randy Buchman will continue the sermon series Boldness and Commitment at the 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday in the auditorium and in the video cafe. This week's topic is Which Way to Turn: Comparing the Choices of Abraham and Lot.

The children's program is also at 9:30 a.m. Learning centers are at 11 a.m.




Shiloh United Methodist Church, Pastor Wayne Frum will speak on the topic, The Gift, at the 9:15 a.m. service this Sunday.

Children's church is during the worship service. Sunday school for all ages is at 10:40 a.m.




St. Peter's (Beard's) Lutheran Church, Old Forge Road, the Rev. David C. Baker will be speaking at the 9:15 a.m. service this Sunday. The topic is Help Me Make It Through The Night. There will be a new member welcomed and a baptism at the service.

Sunday school for all ages is at 10:15 a.m.




Emmanuel United Methodist Church, the Rev. Ken Hawes will speak on the topic, Question of Faith: Healing, at the 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday.

Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville, the Rev. Donna Ritchey Martin will speak on the topic, Wilderness: A Time of Doubt, at the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Sharpsburg, the Rev. Richard Hembrock will be speaking on the topic, What You See Is What You Get, at the 10 a.m. service this Sunday.

St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Scott Bellows will preach at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services this Sunday.

Christian education is at 9 a.m. The adult forum is also at 9 a.m. with a discussion on the temptation of security and prestige led by Bill Lucht.




St. Mark's Lutheran Church, the Rev. David B. Kaplan will be preaching this Sunday at the 8 a.m. chapel and 10:30 a.m. worship services on the topic, In the Heart of Lent.

Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:15 a.m.

The Wednesday Lenten service begins at 7 p.m. with theme Beatitudes of Jesus - Blessed are the Merciful.




Asbury United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown, W.Va., the Rev. Rudolph Bropleh will bring a message at the 11 a.m. service this Sunday.

First Love, a musical group from Uganda, will perform Wednesday at 7 p.m.




St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, Pastor Mark Mooney will preach at the 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, Take Out the Trash. Mooney and his puppet friend E-man will give a children's sermon.

Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults are at 10:45 a.m.




First Baptist Church, Pastor Thom Smith will speak on the topic, The Power of the Cross, at the 11 a.m. service this Sunday.

Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.




St. Catherine Eastern Orthodox Church of Hagerstown, Divine Liturgy celebrating the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos will be held today at 10 a.m. There are vespers at 6:30 p.m.

Father Dennis Buck will be serving Divine Liturgy of the Veneration of the Cross this Sunday at 10 a.m. Church School is held afterward for the children.
