Rolex fundraiser to benefit museum

The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts is celebrating it's 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary.

The second annual Rolex watch raffle fundraiser drawing will be held at the museum's annual meeting on Thursday, March 23, at 6 p.m.

Spaghetti dinner set for March 25

Maugansville Ruritan Club is having an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner on Saturday, March 25, from 3 to 7 p.m.

The event is being held at the Maugansville Fire Company. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 12 years old. Children 5 and younger eat free.

Dinner includes all the spaghetti you can eat, tossed salad, Italian bread and a beverage. Baked goods will also be available.


Proceeds will benefit the Maugansville Fire Department. Please come out and support this worthy cause.

Slippery potpie dinner to be held

Grace United Methodist Church, on the corner of Church and Winter streets in Hagerstown, will be having an all-you-can-eat chicken or ham slippery potpie dinner on Saturday, March 25, from 3 to 6 p.m.

The menu will consist of chicken or ham slippery potpie, cole slaw or peas, rolls, applesauce, coffee or tea and dessert.

The cost for adults is $7; and $3 for children 12 or younger. For those children who would prefer something other than the above, hot dogs will be available. Soft drinks are extra.

Tickets will be sold in advance, which is recommended, but not necessary. Call Donna or Harold Spigler at 301-739-3362 to order your tickets or you may purchase tickets at the church office at 712 Church St. Delivery service is also available, but only in the Hagerstown area.

Country ham sandwiches will also be sold for $2.50 each.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the elevator and renovation fund.
