Tickets on sale for Hancock Rotary Club auction

The Hancock Rotary Club is selling tickets for its annual dinner/raffle/auction April 4.

Hancock auctioneer Ron Zimmerman will auction four box seats to Maryland Symphony Orchestra's "A Sparkling Season Finale" on April 23 and a Woodcraft oak wardrobe valued at $800. These items were donated by Leslie Mills of Hooks Mill and Tracey Woolford of Hancock.

Also on the auction block will be a week's vacation at Myrtle Beach, courtesy of retired insurance agent Jim Crunkleton. The condo with an ocean view has a balcony, full kitchen complete with dishes, living room with TV and VCR, three bedrooms with king and double beds, three bathrooms, sheets and towels provided, pool and covered parking. This is a $1,500 value. The condo is available from Sept. 15, 2006, through April 15, 2007.

A 10-pheasant hunt at Creek Side Farm also will be auctioned. The hunt has been donated by proprietors Keith and Lisa Fischer.

Mr. and Mrs. Lou Ross are offering the family's last three baseball cards of their son, Lou, a former pitcher for the Missoula Osprey and High Desert Mavericks. The cards are signed and in excellent condition.
